Baby Leela :)

This is baby Leela!  Her mom is a the cute little Brazilian that you may remember from her Maternity Session (Marilia....so cute!)  Leela was on her best behavior.  She was super alert and didn't cry until the very end.  A dream!  I can't wait to see her again.  I now offer custom Birth Announcements and Christmas Cards.  Here is one sample of the birth announcement.  I will post more samples soon.  I can customize them with images from your session.  Contact me for details!

Allyshia P.-Studio Session

You may recognize Allyshia from an earlier post.  I did her first Senior Portrait Session in Coronado and they decided to add on a studio session as well.  It just so happened that I scheduled her shoot during the first Charger football game of the season.  Thankfully they also are Charger fans, so her Mom and I would sneak out every once in a while to watch the game.   Just for a minute :)  My husband and kids were around that day.  Thankfully Allyshia loves kids.  My youngest loved her too!  To bad you don't live closer Allyshia....you could babysit :)

Ethan starts preschool!

He looks so grown up.
Brothers.
My three men.
Ready to learn!
Ethan just started preschool at Mission Hills Church.  He loves it!  He has already made friends and asks to go everyday.  I have to admit that it was hard for Nick and I to leave him.   But when I went to pick him up he was so happy that I knew he was sooo ready for this.  Even if Dad and Mom aren't.  When asked what he learned he said two things.  First he said "God is #1" and then he said "Don't pray to other Gods".  Building a great foundation.  Love it!

Cristina & Cedric 08.31.08

When Cristina contacted me about photographing her wedding and told me there were only going to be 6 people I was a little confused.  Six people in the wedding party?  No, six people total.  Two sets of parents and the bride & groom.   I thought for sure that by the time the wedding day came the list would have grown.  I was right.  It grew.  By 1.  They had a good friend video the wedding.  Of course there was me, the pastor and the violinist.  They were married at the home of the Grooms family.  A beautiful home in La Jolla.  The backyard is gorgeous with mature trees all around.  It was almost relaxing for me.   I love my job :)  I think I say that in every blog entry.  But I do love it.  The couple and the family were all really nice.  Here are a few shots from the 1.5 hours I was there....there are a few more in my wedding gallery on my website. :)
