Thanksgiving :)

Nick wearing the Turkey Hat
Nick, Ethan, Tanner, Louie and Rio
Ethan & Owen not so happy about wearing their Turkey Hats
Excited after I told them they would get a piece of gum if they sat together for a picture!
There was so much to be thankful for this year.  We have never been happier.  We are continually blessed by the people in our life.  We have a great family who are always so supportive in many ways.  We have great friends that are there for us.  Our Church is amazing!  My photography business is growing.  This year more than ever my heart has been filled with thankfulness.  Thankful to our family and friends yes, but even more to my God who continues to show me His faithfulness in every aspect of my life.

Stephanie & Travis

Stephanie & Travis were married in Las Vegas in early November.  As with most Destination Weddings it is difficult for all the family and friends to attend.  So Travis' parents threw them a fun reception at there home in Clairemont.   It was a fun night :)  Thanks for having me!

Yesterday I decided to get a picture of the boys for this years Christmas Card.  It was not easy!   We have a maple tree in front of our house so we actually have a few lovely fall leaves in our yard!  So my faithful assistant (the hubby) and I cleaned up the boys and went outside.  They started running around like maniacs!  I couldn't get them to sit still.  If one was sitting the other was trying to take off or making the craziest faces!  Ethan was constantly trying to do karate moves.  Owen would jump up as soon as we sat him down.  Well needless to say I don't have the patience with my own kids that I have with my clients.  So there was a short bickering session between me and my assistant :)  We got over it and out of the 44 pictures I managed to shoot in less than 15 minutes.  I did manage to catch a handful of keepers.   They are so handsome, if I do say so myself!!!

Yvette & Armando

Yvette and Armando are expecting twins in mid January.   A boy (Levi) and a girl (Savannah)....to cute!  I can't wait for those babies.....I have never shot twins before.   Since they took advantage of my Bellies & Babies package we will be seeing a lot of the little ones in the year to come!

Andrea's Maternity

Honestly, I was a little hesitant to post this Maternity Session.  There is lots of skin and I was worried about offending someone.  BUT I think these portraits were done tastefully so I decided to post :)  Andrea is my cousin and wanted Maternity Portraits to give to her boyfriend for his birthday.  I was really excited to shoot her because of her tattoos and the fact that she is fairly easy on the eyes :)

Benjamin

I was asked to photograph Benjamin and his staff for his new website.  His office is in Solana Beach, right on the beach.  They have a great courtyard that is so quaint.  We shot the staff pictures in the courtyard and decided to do a few of just the Doctor.  Lots of fun.  I get to meet the nicest people!

Quail Botanical Gardens=Encinitas, CA

I just figured out (duh!) that my first post about the Quail Botanical Gardens is at the bottom now.  Just FYI so you aren't confused as you scroll down and read :)  I just realized that I have a lot of pictures of wood......

I went with my sister-in-law (I should just say my sister) Amy.  We had such a great time.  It was super relaxing and peaceful.  It has been a long time since we hung out just the two of us.  It was great!  Thanks Aim :)

Quail Botanical Gardens=Encinitas, CA

I finally had the opportunity to go and take some pictures just for fun.  No portraits, no wedding, no baby.  Not that I don't enjoy doing portraits and weddings, I love to.  But I realized I hadn't taken any pictures just because ;)  Here are several (17) different pics from today.  It seemed that everything I looked out was worthy of a picture.
